These paintings are so fun! The colors stay so rich and vibrant and they blend together in ways that are sometimes unpredictable which adds to their charm.

This painted tile is finished with three coats of varnish.

Although it's varnished, it isn't recommended to use as a trivet or coaster but is great for propping on a shelf, hanging or standing on an easel.

I finish all my alcohol ink paintings with 3 coats of Kyrlon Kamar varnish, 3 coats of UV Protectant and a gloss protective coating. This helps protect the work but know that alcohol inks are dye-based and could fade over time if exposed to direct sunlight. It is best to display this artwork away from direct UV light to avoid any chance of fading.
